KP-SYS library systems users' meeting

On November 13^th, 2019, the KP-SYS library systems users' meeting was held in the National Archive. This traditional workshop was organized together with this company by the Department of Historical Bibliography and newly also by the National Archive. This year's meeting presented archive libraries (National Archives Library, Prague City Archives Library and State Regional Archives Library in Prague). Representatives of the company KP-SYS Ing. Petr Stefan, Ing. Tomáš Krejzek, Ing. Jan Pachol and Tomáš Dostál summarized the activities and results of KP-SYS in 2019 and introduced innovations in the Verbis and Portaro systems.

22nd Colloquium of Czech, Moravian and Slovak Bibliographers

The 22^nd Colloquium of Czech, Moravian and Slovak Bibliographers was held at the Institute of History of the CAS in Prague from 6^th to 8^th October 2019. Contributions were made on historical landscape in regional literature, on Czech and Slovak bibliographers and on travelers and traveling from Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia in the 19^th and 20^th centuries. Věra Hanelová from the Department of Historical Bibliography of the Institute of History of the CAS presented a contribution on the historian and bibliographer Stanislava Jonášová-Hájková (September 22, 1904 - February 23, 1985).

The colloquium also included a cultural program. On the first day, the conference participants had the opportunity to ride a historical tram through the center of Prague with a commentary by Jiří Martínek, Ph.D. At the end of the second day of the meeting, extracts from Jesuit school theater plays were performed by the Lauriger Theater Guild.

31^st session of the SDRUK section for bibliography

On March 26-27, 2019, the 31^st session of the SDRUK Section for Bibliography was held at the J. A. Komenský Pedagogical Library in Prague. The contribution “Looking at the Results of Bibliographic Activities in the Czech Regions after 2010” was presented by Jaromír Kubíček and Václava Horčáková.

15^th historical-geographic conference

On January 23^rd, 2019, the Charles University – Faculty of Science, hosted the 15^th historical-geographical conference on Footprints of Roads. Markéta Marková presented on border roads and journeys across borders.
