Increase in the number of visitors of our database
On comparing the number of visitors of the database Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands for the months of November 2014 and 2015, it is possible to observe an increase by ca 20%. Our bibliographic team is pleased that this increase concerns largely visitors from abroad (Europe, USA), as shown in the comparative table.

Meeting of KP-SYS bibliography systems users
The meeting of KP-SYS bibliography systems users was held by Department of Historical Bibliography of the Institute of History, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and by KP-SYS company on November 23, 2015. Foreign guest Alžbeta Sedliaková from the Historical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences presented the Bibliography of the History of Slovakia at the meeting. In her paper she focused on the history of Slovak bibliography, mutual Czech-Slovak cooperation and, first of all, the transfer of more than 80 000 entries Bibliography of the History of Slovakia to the international format MARC 21. In the following Lenka Procházková introduced geographic index Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands and its news. It’s GPS coordinates and links to Wikipedia. Representatives of company KP-SYS Petr Štefan, Jan Pachol and Tomáš Krejzek then introduced news in Verbis and Portaro systems. This was mainly the union catalog and digital library. After lunch, head of the Library of the Institute of History Ivana Pittnerová invited participants to study room at an exhibition of Early Printed Books and presented the news publishing of the Institute of History. The final discussion was mainly focused on the preparation of the new version Verbis 1.2 and connection status on the Central portal of libraries, modules QAI, NCIP. The outlook for 2016 then finished working meeting of KP-SYS users.

Conference „Forced migration processes in the Czech lands in the 20th century“
On November 4 - 6, 2015, conference „Forced migration processes in the Czech lands in the 20th century“ was held in Týnec nad Sázavou. Václava Horčáková prepared the paper Czech (and Czechoslovak) historiography in the period 1945-2014 to the causes and consequences of forced migrations in years of Czechoslovak statehood, it was presented by Věra Hanelová.

1st Workshop on Digital Humanities 2015
On September 24, 2015 a workshop on digital resources and services in social sciences and humanities was held in a building of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague. The morning program contained presentations of executives of European infrastructures in the social sciences and humanities, followed by a presentation of two Czech research infrastructures in the field of humanities and social sciences. Poster session of research infrastructures took place at the 1st floor, where the project Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands was introduced. In the Conference Proceedings of the Workshop research infrastructures are more detailed presented.

In dem britischen Verlag Cambridge Scholars Publishing war eine Sammlung von Beiträgen aus der Konferenz „Historical Bibliography as an Essential Source for Historiography. Fifth International Conference of the European Historical Bibliographies“, die die Bibliographische Abteilung vom 7. – 8. November 2013 organisierte, veröffentlicht.

Konferenz „Elektronische Bibliotheksdienstleistungen III“
Am 12. -13. 5. 2015 fand in der Regionalbibliothek von František Bartoš in Zlín die Konferenz „Elektronische Bibliotheksdienstleistungen III“ statt. Václava Horčáková hatte einen Beitrag „Die Datenbank Bibliographie zur Geschichte der Böhmischen Länder als Weg zu Volltexte in den inländischen und ausländischen Bibliotheken“.

Seminar Elektronischen Informationsquellen
In den Tagen von 2. bis 3. April 2015 fand am Institut für tschechische Literatur Seminar Elektronischen Informationsquellen der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik von der Gesellschaft und Kultur statt. Václava Horčáková präsentierte hier Lösungen und Teilergebnisse des Projektes Bibliographie der Geschichte der tschechischen Länder.

27. Sitzung der bibliographischen Sektion SDRUK
In den Tagen von 13. bis 14. April fand in der Landesbibliothek in Karlovy Vary 27. Sitzung der bibliographischen Sektion SDRUK statt. Bibliographie der Geschichte der tschechischen Länder war auf der Tagung von Václava Horčáková vertreten. Das Arbeitstreffen war vor allem auf die weitere Entwicklung der Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der analytischen Bibliographie (ANL) konzentriert.
